honey space.
i am into this place - and not just cuz of the name.
a no-profit gallery -- housed for free by a developer -- providing independent exhibition space in a non-commercial setting.

plus this makes my office's planned move to the next block a little less of a bummer.

really?
this is getting a little crazy. any engineers or architects out there wanna be a TV star?
i just don't know guys. maybe they'll be these kinds of architects...
are we going to be forced to have viewing parties while we hope for the next huge catfight from the sweater-wearing, sleep-deprived dudes hunched over drafting tables?“provider of unscripted, reality entertainment, is looking for
experts in architecture and engineering with the chops and the
charisma to host their own TV show.”

great freakin idea.
i am reminded of this great idea every single time i get off the damn L train at bedford with a billion other people. (this being one of those moments when i am not embarrassed to admit that i don't know where i'm going...where am i? who are all these people?)
car free bedford.
it's genius. no cars. no trucks. just the ability for hipsters to meander freely amongst other freewheeling hipsters.
i didn't want to steal the awesome images cuz i'm new to this game but check 'em out.

nothing's happened in a long, long while. any ideas?
window shopping.
i find myself at work and exhausted and can't stand the thought of outlook or excel or anything remotely hard.
so i'm window shopping. a good place to wander is little paper planes. a slew of cheap art, clothes and other assorted things.
i just love this gal.

the need for speed.
we are always getting shit from people for walking slow...not running to get the train...not hustling to get to the office. but you miss stuff moving too fast.

those damn swedes.
Winter has arrived...and with it, a new found deep appreciation for the
swedes. These people understand the relatively-ugly-it’s-cute boot for snow and I must share the good news.
These boots are delicious. And yes, we know, ridiculously silly.
My toes were cozy and warm, oblivious to the perils directly below them. I walked and walked and walked – no chilly toes, no icky seeping wet, AND no slipping.
Perfection has been achieved.
Not to mention that my little toes were blushing and smiling to themselves cuz no one even had to know they were naked...
you can cop them at catbird or at Sven's incredibly insane website.
